25–44’s Fethiye to Demre Gulet Cruise, 6 Nights

The original Sail Turkey – now bigger, better, and built for social travellers.

Start your adventure in vibrant Fethiye and sail east through the most beautiful stretch of the Turkish Riviera. Over six unforgettable nights, discover Butterfly Valley, Oludeniz Blue Lagoon, Kas, Simena Castle, and Kekova’s Sunken City — a journey designed for flow, not loops. Every morning brings a new view, every evening a new anchorage, no repeats along the way.

Created for travellers aged 25–44, this one-way cruise blends the perfect balance of connection and calm — 50% social, 50% relax — with morning swims, coastal exploration, sunset dinners, and evenings under the stars shared with new friends.

Many guests join this route after exploring inland Türkiye — from Ephesus, Pamukkale, or Istanbul, it’s an easy connection to Fethiye via Dalaman Airport or intercity coaches. When your cruise ends in Demre, you’ll enjoy free transfers to Antalya and Dalaman, with smooth drop-offs along the way at Olympos Junction, Cirali Junction, Kas, Kalkan, and Calis Beach (Fethiye) — ideal for continuing on to Antalya, Cappadocia, or Konya.

Prefer to sail the other way?
Our Demre to Fethiye (6 Nights) One-Way Sail Turkey Cruise follows the same Lycian coastline in reverse — perfect for travellers coming from Antalya, Cappadocia, or Konya. Begin your journey inland, reach the coast at Demre, and sail westward through Kekova, Kas, and Oludeniz before finishing in Fethiye, where it’s easy to continue toward Pamukkale, Ephesus, or Istanbul.

Trip Itinerary

Welcome aboard! Meet your crew and fellow travellers at the SAILNSTAY Fethiye Office at 14:00, drop your bags, and settle in before departure. At 14:30, we cast off from Fethiye Harbour and begin your coastal adventure along Turkiye’s stunning Turquoise Coast.

Our first stop is Samanlik Bay or Red Island — the perfect place for your first swim in the Mediterranean. The water is impossibly clear, the coastline framed by pine-covered hills, and the air full of that unmistakable summer energy.

As the afternoon drifts into evening, we cruise toward Boncuklu Bay or Tarzan Bay, where you’ll experience your first sunset at sea. The sky glows gold and rose, the music softens, and everyone gathers on deck for tea, laughter, and that first “we’re really here” moment.

Dinner is freshly prepared on board and enjoyed under the stars — your introduction to the relaxed rhythm of life at sea. Tonight, we anchor in the same bay, letting the gentle sound of the water lull you into your first night’s sleep aboard.

Don’t Miss: Your first swim off the boat at Samanlik Bay – nothing beats that first plunge into turquoise water.
Optional Activity: Grab a mask and snorkel to spot fish around the rocky shoreline.
Pro Tip: Sunset at Red Island is the perfect time for photos – keep your camera ready as the whole horizon glows red-orange.

Meals: Five o’clock tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Boncuklu Bay or Tarzan Bay

Wake up to the sound of the waves and enjoy breakfast on deck as we sail toward the dramatic cliffs of Butterfly Valley. Accessible only by boat, this canyon is home to waterfalls, lush greenery, and (in season) hundreds of butterflies. Swim ashore, hike up the trail, or relax on the beach with your friends.

Next stop: Oludeniz Blue Lagoon – one of the most photographed beaches in the world. Jump in for a swim in the turquoise water, or take the leap and book the optional paragliding experience from Babadag Mountain. Soaring nearly 2,000 meters above the lagoon is a once-in-a-lifetime thrill.

By late afternoon, we anchor at St. Nicholas Island, scattered with ancient Byzantine ruins. Explore the island, climb to the hilltop church, and take in a sunset you’ll never forget.

Back onboard, the crew serves up another freshly cooked dinner. Tonight is all about bonding, stargazing, and swapping stories over a drink with new friends.

Don’t Miss: Hiking up to the church ruins on St. Nicholas Island – the panoramic views at sunset are unreal.
Optional Activity: Paragliding over Oludeniz – easily one of the top adventure experiences in Turkey.
Pro Tip: Bring sturdy sandals for the Butterfly Valley hike – the path up to the waterfall can be slippery.

Meals:  Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – St. Nicholas Island

It’s an early morning departure today – so don’t worry, stay cosy in your cabin or stretch out on deck and let the gentle rocking of the gulet keep you sleeping as we cruise past some of Turkey’s most iconic coastline, including Patara Beach – the longest beach in Turkey at 20 km of golden sand.

Breakfast is served at Mouse Island or Gerenlik Beach, near Kalkan – both are stunning spots for a morning swim. By late morning, we sail into the charming harbour town of Kas.

Here you’ll have time to explore: wander cobbled streets full of boutiques, grab a Turkish coffee in the square, or check out the small amphitheatre overlooking the sea.

For thrill-seekers, Kas is the scuba diving capital of Turkey – with vibrant reefs, wrecks, and even sea turtles. Never dived before? No problem – you can try an introductory dive with a professional guide.

In the late afternoon, we sail across to Limanagzi Bay, a natural harbour opposite Kas. Swim, relax, and enjoy dinner with the group. The evening is all about chilling on deck, swapping stories, and stargazing with new friends.

Don’t Miss: Breakfast at Mouse Island/Gerenlik – the water here is insanely clear for a morning dip.
Optional Activity: Scuba diving in Kas – from beginner’s dives to advanced wreck dives, this is your chance.
Pro Tip: Pack your camera for the early sail – catching sunrise as we glide past Patara Beach is unforgettable.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Limanagzi Bay

We begin the morning with a refreshing swim at Inonu Bay, one of Kekova’s hidden gems. After a lazy dip, we cruise toward the ancient ruins of Aperlai. Once a thriving Lycian city, parts of it now lie beneath the sea. We anchor here for lunch on board, with time to snorkel and spot the old harbour walls and stone foundations under the water.

In the afternoon, we set sail for Aquarium Bay, famous for its glassy-clear water. It’s the perfect place for a swim and our traditional five o’clock tea, with snacks served on deck.

By evening, we reach Gokkaya Bay, the centre of Kekova’s nightlife and watersports. After dinner on board, hop in the dinghy for a ride to the legendary Smugglers Inn floating bar. It’s a Sail Turkey tradition – dance under the stars, meet fellow travellers, and enjoy a night you’ll never forget.

Don’t Miss: Snorkelling over the ruins of Aperlai – it’s like swimming through an open-air museum.
Optional Activity: Watersports at Gokkaya Bay before heading to Smugglers.
Pro Tip: Bring cash for Smugglers – it’s the one bar on the route where card payments can be tricky.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Gokkaya Bay

Wake up in Gokkaya Bay and enjoy a leisurely breakfast surrounded by turquoise waters. After a slow start, we cruise west to Burc Bay, a tranquil cove where you can swim and relax before enjoying lunch on deck.

In the afternoon, we set course for Hamidiye Bay, a beautiful inlet with calm, clear water and a peaceful atmosphere. Here we serve our traditional five o’clock tea, giving you time to swim, snorkel, or unwind on deck.

We anchor overnight in Hamidiye Bay, where the calm setting is perfect for a relaxed evening after the buzz of Smugglers. Enjoy dinner onboard, watch the sunset over the hills, and spend the night under a star-filled sky.

Don’t Miss: A sunset swim at Hamidiye – the water is warm and glowing in the evening light.
Optional Activity: Snorkelling around Hamidiye’s rocky shoreline.
Pro Tip: Tonight is about relaxing – recharge before our final adventure tomorrow.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Hamidiye Bay

We start the day with breakfast at Hamidiye Bay, then sail toward the charming village of Ucagiz, a sleepy harbour town surrounded by ancient Lycian ruins. Here we stop for about 1.5 hours, giving you the chance to explore the town or join the optional sea kayaking tour through the bays and ruins of Kekova.

By midday, we meet at Simena Castle, where kayakers rejoin the group. Climb to the castle at Simena for sweeping views over Kekova and enjoy a relaxed lunch with the group. Don’t forget to try the locally made ice cream from the village families on your way up.

In the afternoon, we sail past the mysterious Sunken City of Kekova, a UNESCO-protected site where half-submerged walls, staircases, and houses lie beneath the water.

We stop at Katir Pier for a swim and our traditional five o’clock tea, before heading to our final anchorage. Depending on the sea conditions, we spend the night in either Karaloz Bay (a remote and wild location) or Danamusa Bay (a sheltered and calm bay).

The crew prepares a special farewell BBQ dinner on deck, and your last night is all about stargazing, sharing memories, and enjoying one final evening with your new friends.

Don’t Miss: Climbing to Simena Castle – the view is one of the most iconic in Turkey.
Optional Activity: Sea kayaking through Kekova’s hidden bays and ruins.
Pro Tip: Tonight is your farewell night – stay up late under the stars.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Karaloz Bay or Danamusa Bay

On your final morning, we make a stop at the mysterious Pirate Cave, said to have once sheltered smugglers. Afterwards, enjoy a last swim and relax in either Buzaglik Bay or Camlik Bay, where lunch is served on board.

In the afternoon, we sail to Turtle Beach, arriving around 15:00. Keep your eyes peeled – this area is a nesting ground for the endangered Caretta Caretta turtles.

By 16:00, we return to Demre Harbour for disembarkation.

Pre-Travel Resources

Everything you need to prepare for your cruise — pick-ups, meeting points, travel requirements, and onboard guidelines:

Our Gulet Fleet

You’ll be sailing on one of our handpicked Turkish wooden Gulets — traditional boats with chill social spaces, sunbeds for lounging, and a shaded dining area where the crew serves up fresh meals daily. Every Gulet has its own layout and charm, but they’re all in the same comfort class — clean, comfortable, and made for slow cruising. Your onboard crew (captain, chef, and deckhand) are pros at keeping things smooth, safe, and fun. Want a peek inside? → See Cabins Onboard

Sample images shown. Gulet layouts and styles may vary slightly by departure.

Cabins Onboard

Each cabin is private and ensuite, with a twin, double, triple, or quad bed, your own bathroom, and just enough space to keep things simple. It’s not luxury — it’s clean, compact, and precisely what you need after a full day in the sun. Some bathrooms have a wet-room layout where the shower and toilet share the same space, while others may include a curtain or small divider. We provide fresh bed linen and bath towels, but please bring your own beach towel for swimming and sunbathing.

Cabin layouts, sizes, and finishes may vary slightly depending on the Gulet. All cabins are in the same comfort class.

More on dietary options | More on water policy

Yes! We can cater to most dietary needs such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, and more.

When booking, you can select your dietary preference from the options listed.
If your diet is not listed, simply add a note in the reservation comments box or email us after booking.

Some special diets like gluten-free or vegan may require hard-to-find ingredients in Turkey. In these cases, a small surcharge may apply — we’ll inform you before the trip.

The more detail you give us, the better we can prepare delicious meals for your cruise.

Yes — drinking water is provided during all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

To help reduce plastic waste onboard, we kindly ask guests to bring a reusable water bottle, which can be refilled throughout the day from shared water containers on the gulet.

Bottled water is not served between meals unless otherwise noted.

Couples would get their own cabin. Depending on your group breakdown, solo travellers will share and may be roomed in a twin, double, triple or quad cabin.

If you are a couple, please add a note during booking.

Accommodation in multi-share cabins is included on this trip. Depending on availability, you may upgrade to a private triple/twin/double ensuite cabin.

Yes, you can change your departure date, depending on availability. A small fee will apply and, if the new departure date is more expensive, this difference will also need to be paid. You may also transfer the money you have already paid over to another trip of the same or higher value, provided it is outside of the notification period.

To ensure you have enough room to move around your cabin, we recommend you bring a small to medium-sized suitcase or backpack.

Due to boat licensing laws, you are not able to bring your own alcohol on the vessel. However, well-priced drinks are available for you to purchase on board using a tab system, which needs to be paid the day you check-out.

On all of our gulet cruises, we offer a traditional Turkish breakfast, a vegetarian lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner, which are included in the price.
We offer Jain, Vegetarian, Vegan, Halal and Kosher food options on request.
You are welcome to bring extra snacks for the journey. Drinks can only be purchased on board on a tab basis, paid on the day you disembark.

Unfortunately, you are not allowed to bring your own drinks on board (including water) but you can bring your own snacks, such as peanuts, crisps, biscuits etc.

Bar Payments: Please keep in mind that you will need to have cash available to cover any expenses at the bar during the trip. The bar payments will be settled on the final day of the journey. It is possible that there won’t be any ATMs available at the ports, so it is best to plan accordingly. However, do not worry about withdrawing cash at the outset as there are ATMs in Kas Port town that will become accessible on the second day of the journey.

Some boats have power sockets in the cabins while other vessels only have them only in the salon area. The power sockets can be used when the engine or generator is on.

Beach Towels not provided: Please be advised that we do not provide beach towels on board. We kindly request that you bring your own towels for use at the beach. While bath towels are available, they should not be used for the beach. Please note that shops selling towels are easily found in every town throughout Turkey.

Gulet boats have limited energy resources, which is why it’s recommended to limit the use of air conditioning to 4-6 hours per day. This will help conserve fuel and optimize the efficiency of the boat. It will also extend the lifespan of the generator and support eco-friendly practices by relying on natural ventilation. Running the generator at night can be quite noisy and disruptive to other passengers. Therefore, it’s important to strike a balance between guest comfort and environmental responsibility.

Yes! If you book all 16 spots, the Gulet becomes completely private for your group.

The total boat price is shown in the pricing table under “Private Use – Whole Boat.”

That means:

  • No other guests
  • Same epic route
  • Same crew
  • Just your crew onboard 😉

To make the cruise exclusive, all 16 berths need to be booked.
If you’re a smaller group and want full privacy, you can still book the whole boat at the total private price.
